John is a certified public accountant and an attorney. He is originally from Kentucky having graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and earned his law degree from the University of Louisville. John is the owner of Pearce & Company, PC, which provides tax preparation and accounting services to business and individual clients. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Texas Society of CPAs, State Bar of Texas, Austin Bar Association, and American Association of Attorney-Certified Public Accountants. John is past president of the Rotary Club of Lakeway Lake Travis and a member of the North West Rotary Club of Austin. He served three years as the Treasurer for Rotary International District 5870, and for two years on the behavorial enforcement committee of the Texas State Board of Public Accountants. He currently serves as legal advisor to the board of directors of Angel Flight South Centrol. He is a private pilot.
